The Waitangi
Land Ledger.

Parcel by parcel. Instrument by instrument. This series separates the pre-1932 private-title chain, National Trust land, the Crown-held Waitangi Endowment, later statutory releases and the proposed Endowment Forest transfer. It does not convert authority, policy or accounting entries into completed title.

Evidence standard: every material factual claim in Subject 09 is linked at the point it is made to the primary or best available supporting record. Bottom-of-page source registers remain as a secondary audit trail.

Control rule: an Act authorising a title to issue is not proof that the title issued. A policy announcement is not a conveyance. An appropriation is not a vesting. A modern estate-area description is not a substitute for the parcel schedule that produces it.

Open items are no longer vague gaps. They are identified title records, warrants, transfer instruments and LINZ reconciliation steps that can be inserted into the existing ledger when obtained.

Key reconciliation finding

The modern 506 ha
is not the 1932 opening balance.
