Kiri Campbell, New Zealand software developer and founder of Eden Software
Kiri Campbell · Aotearoa New Zealand

I'm Kiri Campbell — a New Zealand software developer, founder of Eden Software, writer and professional question-asker.

I live in Aotearoa New Zealand and I don't fit particularly neatly into one category. I'm fine with that.

What I do

I like turning ideas
into real things.

I founded Eden Software to build digital products, websites and software that solve actual problems. My work spans full-stack software development, product design and AI-assisted development. I care about whether something works, whether people can understand it, and whether it deserves to exist in the first place.

You can see some of that work on the Work page.

What I talk about

Technology is only
part of the story.

I write and talk about technology, AI, business, politics, power, behaviour and public systems. Usually I am interested in the thing underneath the headline: who made the decision, how the system works, who benefits, what gets missed and whether there is a better way.

Less theatre. More substance.

Why this site exists

A search result is not
a whole person.

Social posts, headlines and old stories can each show one moment. This is the place I keep current: what I'm building now, what I'm thinking about and the work I want to be known for.

No dramatic reinvention. Just a clearer picture.
